The oxyfuel combustion system at Ssangyong C&E's cement plant in Korea is now in critical commissioning phase. As the supplier of the complete control valve package — covering ambient, cryogenic, and cold-box internal/external valves — CenturyVal has gone beyond product delivery by deploying a dedicated service team on-site to support commissioning throughout.
Rigorous On-Site Inspection
To ensure the customer meets its scheduled startup target, our field team immediately conducted a comprehensive, valve-by-valve installation inspection upon arrival. From valve positioning and piping alignment to actuator calibration, every detail was verified against design standards.
Beyond the Product: Comprehensive Installation Support
We understand that successful valve operation depends not only on the product itself, but on precise on-site installation. Our team proactively assisted the customer in optimizing installation workflows, providing support that extended beyond the valves themselves — including tooling coordination, technical consultation, and interface compatibility recommendations with adjacent equipment. This integrated approach minimized commissioning delays and created real convenience for the customer.
All-In Commitment, Mission Accomplished
Project schedule is our command. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with the customer, the CenturyVal field team tackled technical challenges item by item, often working extended hours, to uphold our commitment to putting the customer first.
This project represents Korea's first cryogenic oxyfuel plant for cement clinker calcination, aimed at boosting efficiency, increasing alternative fuel utilization, stabilizing kiln operations, and contributing to CO₂ reduction and green transformation in the cement industry. CenturyVal is proud to support this milestone project with both product excellence and service dedication.
We look forward to the successful completion of commissioning and official plant startup!
