    Century EG18 / EG68 series cryogenic globe type control valve adopts a unique construction design optimized for cold box environments, mainly used in air separation units, LNG facilities, and other low-temperature process applications.

  • Features

    • Extended bonnet/body design with no flange structure inside the cold box, completely eliminating the risk of external leakage;
    • Top entry design available for all sizes, greatly simplifying valve maintenance;
    • Optimized heat transfer design effectively prevents frosting/icing on the external portion of the valve outside the cold box;
    • Flexible connection options including floating connection and rigid connection for cold box mounting;
    • When plug size ≥ 1/2”, optional V-port plug with top-and-bottom guided structure available for severe service conditions;
    • Multiple flow characteristic options available, with optimized trim delivering superior throttling/control performance;
    • Wide range of trim material combinations available to handle various media and operating conditions;
